Rutherford Forge offers a unique, in person experience wherein a person is able to forge their own blade. Within these courses, clients learn the basics of the craft and leave with a finished blade that not only will be a symbol of your accomplishment of the course, but also transcend generations and even become a treasured heirloom.
Forge an integral blade from 51060 spring steel. Make a custom pouch for the blade.

Profiling, rough grinding and heat treating the blade.
Machine finishing the blade
Making the pouch for the knife

Forge and finish a custom hunter/utility with 51060 spring steel blade, wild olive handle and brass bolster. Finish off with a custom wet-formed sheath for the knife.
